My Law Enforcement career began with the Polk County Sheriff's Office where I served from 1995 until 2000. While at PCSO I served as a training officer with new recruits, as a narcotics officer, and in the community oriented policing unit.
In 2000 I accepted a position with the Lakeland Police Department. I served with LPD until my retirement on 09/2020. During my 20 years of service with LPD I held several positions. First as a training Officer in patrol, a neighborhood liaison, special purpose vehicle operator, and completed the last 6 years of my law enforcement career as a K9 handler.
I dedicated myself fully to each department I served in as a Law Enforcement Officer and took great pride in my work. While never holding a supervisor position full time, by choice, I often filled in for supervisor rolls as needed/requested by my superiors.
In May of 2023 I accepted a position in the Lakeland Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division as a detective in the Special Victims Unit, where I am currently employed.
