Energetic educational leader with thirty-five years of experience leading schools to high achievement. Accustomed to oversight of facilities, curriculum development, faculty and program evaluations, developing and implementing professional development, monitoring student progress and adhering to educational standards. Most of all, dedicated to the development of quality educational settings that optimize student achievement.

• Served as chairperson of the consortium of all Madison County government units that successfully defeated a $16,000,000 tax protest by the Olin Brass Corporation
• Served as chairperson of the planning committee which produced a five-year strategic plan for the Southwestern School District resulting in an updated curriculum and rehabbing of three attendance centers
• Served as chairperson of the committee for the successful passage of a bond referendum to construct a new high school in the Centralia School District.
• Have written and received over $3,600,000 in government grants
• Facilitated a dual credit program with Kaskaskia Junior College resulting in Centralia High School students eligibility for up to twelve hours of college credit
• Developed and implemented a one-to-one technology program that resulted in every student in the East Alton School District receiving an IPad
• Oversaw the conversion of district bus fleet from diesel to propane resulting in a 17% reduction in transportation costs
