  • Became a mechanic for open-wheeled racing cars for multiple race weekends in the FR/F4/F4JS series.
  • Worked out of Cresson, TX, Millville, NJ, and Austin, TX while shadowing the one of the team's engineers Rik Kasius.
  • Changed tires before and after races on JSF4 cars.
  • Perform brake bleeds on multiple cars in order to expel air from all brake systems to maximize brake performance.
  • Emptied and weighed fuel from each car after races to give data to engineer.
  • Weighed fuel and loaded it into cars in the amount that was instructed by mechanics and engineers.
  • Took tire pressures for each car at pit stop.
  • Ensured that all screws holding wooden floor to the carbon fiber chassis were firmly attached in order to prevent aerodynamic trouble and to prevent floor damage in the event of a crash.
  • Worked with engineers and mechanics to understand how roll-bars, suspensions, and various other aspects of the car contributed to its speed and efficiency.
