1. AFN President Health Award - In self governance the tribes have the right to change programs . IHS was going to close 600 tribally operated Assisted Living homes but I reminded the 12 IHS attorneys that the tribes have the right to change programs. They looked it up  and it was coorect.

This was in a Alaska Native Health Board Meeting. IHS left the 600 tribally owned assisted living facilities open.

2. National and State level participation levels for the environment and sanitation for rural Alaska

3. Recognition of village and regional needs to bring to State and National level to be met and funded.
