I worked as a registered nurse on a busy medical/surgical floor for almost 10 years before moving back to the town where I was raised, to go to work for the family owned custom cabinetry shop alongside my dad and younger sister,
The knowledge and skill that I have acquired during the almost 12 years I have been employed there surpasses almost every job experience I've had in my adult life.
However, my dad is of retirement age and is ready to slow down productivity in our shop and my love for bedside nursing is something I feel I can no longer do without.
