Leadership & Committee Experience

P&T Committee Initiative: Spearheaded an initiative to incorporate dual- and triple-combination antihypertensive pills into the formulary to address hypertension in the Bronx. Presented evidence-based rationale to the P&T committee, resulting in approval and implementation. This initiative aimed to reduce pill burden, enhance patient adherence, and improve population-level hypertension management.

• Clinical Reasoning Curriculum Committee – Contributed to the development and implementation of a schema-based curriculum to enhance trainees’ clinical judgment and structured diagnostic reasoning
• QAPI (Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement) Committee – Participated in initiatives to improve patient care quality, safety, and clinical outcomes
• DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Committee – Engaged in efforts to promote an inclusive and equitable training environment for residents and staff.

  Explored the role of extracellular vesicles in AL and ATTR cardiac amyloidosis and potential clinical applications. Co-author.
