Summary

Developed 11 maize hybrids during 9 years of experience as a public sector maize breeder. One of the hybrids is being grown for seed production on more than 1000 acres during 2024-25. Over 250 unique inbred lines have been developed, many of which are parents of several outstanding pipeline hybrids. Adept at developing high-yield, disease-resistant maize cultivars through innovative breeding programs and rigorous field testing. Extensive experience in starting a maize breeding program from scratch which grows up to developing successful commercial hybrids.
