- Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards, reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and/or electro-mechanical systems, and investigates problems to develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications; develops and implements program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and ELS tools and analyses. Lead and/or participate in quality process improvement projects. Ensure that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems. Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Oversee the document control system by processing document change requests and working with the division to develop new documents. Create, review, and approve changes to the quality system process to devise best practices and reduce process variation. Consult with quality managers on best practices. Develop and update quality and ISO 9001 system training programs, and train all levels of employees on these systems. Provide on-site and off-site quality system consultation to all division locations. Audit and test the quality system to ensure the sustainability of processes and compliance with company and legal requirements (i.e., ISO 9001). Report on quality system metrics and present to site and division leadership and the audit team.
