At FCM Hotels, the Accountant will support the accounting department through evaluating financial decisions. This is done by collecting, analyzing, tracking, and reconciling the company's financial statements and records for each asset in a timely and accurate fashion.

The hotel accountant is responsible for protecting company assets, posting daily revenue reporting, reviewing invoices for accuracy, filing sales and use taxes, and utilizing multiple accounting software programs to create accurate financial statements.

• Prepared and mailed invoices to customers, processed payments, and documented account updates.
• Submitted cash and check deposits and generated cash receipts to record money received.
• Maintained up-to-date customer contact information, enabling effective communication regarding account status and payment inquiries.
• Provided exceptional customer service when addressing client inquiries about their account status or billing concerns, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
