Recently completed managing a pilot project for manufacturing educational opportunities with Portland
Community College. Continue to supervise a team of 9 employees working on 3 different employment
contracts and mentored supervisors of staff on smaller teams to train them in their leadership roles. My
array of duties includes managing budgets, updating training aids, and collaborating with programs and
executive leadership for quality communication and integration. Ongoing focus on strategic plans to
ensure client access, equity and inclusion is a priority within our mission.
Successfully Managed, led, and partnered in a 5-year Federal research project under HHS (Health and Human Services) (Health and Human Services) to enroll folks in Health Education and Careers.
Manage and oversee multiple contracts for Worksystems Inc., drafting quarterly narrative reports, and working closely with the contract managers, and community partners. Monitor goals and lead teams to meet performance measures.
Lead, oversee, hire, and support four teams that serve clients seeking employment services for a contract
that is funded by Worksystems, to help chronically homeless, or at-risk individuals become
employed and housed with internal and external resources. Manage Mental Health employment team with
successful Fidelity reviews each year and build a strong partnership with Vocational Rehabilitation. My
duties include biweekly supervision of staff to train, coach, and provide professional development.
Worked in HMIS to ensure staff case notes were up to date and run reports for county and state to
auditors for services provided.
Support women coming into residential treatment involved with CPS due to addiction. Advocate in court
for child visitation and return to parent plans. Assist them in scheduling appointments for themselves and
their children for medical, WIC, and recommended services such as domestic violence groups, housing,
and self-sufficiency. Assist ladies to apply and move into CCC Family Alcohol and Drug-Free Housing.
As a Peer and a Leader, I add a unique talent to motivate, understand, and role model consistency, honesty, and empathy for our clients and our staff who identify as peers. My lived experience has provided this program to continue to role model career growth and life in long-term recovery.
