As part of the Discovery Data Engineering team, my efforts help improve existing engineering practices and pave the way for new key features in Epsilon’s PeopleCloud product:

• Designed, implemented, and supported migration to new ETL pipelines to ingest data into the Discovery system in order to support audience creation and management in acceptable time frames to support the Same Day Audiences initiative.
• Migrated services into regional environments across AWS EKS, and Azure infrastructure.
• Integrated new APIs into legacy data processing pipelines by implementing shared libraries.
• Integrated jobs and services across multiple clouds.
• Continuous integration and test automation:
• Implemented and standardized an internal framework for end-to-end testing of components, both locally and in CI pipelines, for faster development cycles.
• Paved the way for automated end-to-end testing of complete releases.

• Led adoption of agile methodologies to help with task clarity, visibility and tracking.
• Automated testing of vital product features across both legacy and newer services.
• Proposed consistent versioning framework for customer facing documents in Postgres databases.

• Map Your Own Data initiative:
• Collected and documented requirements to support MYOD initiative.
• Proposed and benchmarked possible solutions using various approaches and technologies including Java, MongoDB and Dataflow.
• Implemented scalable, highly parallelizable, configuration driven customer data mapping solution in order to reduce connector development and maintenance effort.
• Reduced size and operating cost of ElasticSearch cluster by approximately 10% by inspecting metrics, finding hotspots, and tuning JVM parameters in our ES cluster.
• Dockerized existing Ruby services in order to migrate from EC2 to ECS/EKS to simplify deployment and reduce operating costs.

• Led design and architecture of mission creation and messaging services.
• Designed and implemented services necessary to enable and support SRT access to vulnerability data surfaced by Hydra.

• Designed a system health metrics aggregation platform that is setting the stage for the predictive analytics system in order to improve utilization of the database resources usage.
• Implemented internal financial analytics tools that enabled multi-national teams to coordinate material shipping and financial operations.

• Recognized for delivering featured customer experience on the Genesis Call Center software that was used by strategic clients and customers like Bank of America.

• Case Management System emulator that enabled running of artificial cases in local environment.
• Dynamic page templating that reduced application memory footprint by approximately 15%.

• Gathered and analyzed legal filing requirements for client entities and developed questionnaire logic based on requirements.
