Consult with and provide guidance for the Bullard High School principal and administration on a weekly basis.

Taught Education Administration course, providing instruction to 14 students. Provided guidance and direction for students as they created and completed a research project at their school.

• Evaluated and prioritized bond projects for G.O
• Bond (Measure I - $175 Million)
• Projects include; modernization of gyms, theaters, science classrooms, and stadiums at all six comprehensive high schools
• New projects also funded by the bond include; pools at all high schools, a gym, theater and new stadium
• High speed wireless access installed at all sites, summer of 2016
• Based on teacher readiness, sites began going 1:1 fall 2016 with all students being issued Chromebooks
• Ongoing professional development provided at all sites
• Quarterly assessments created for all language arts and mathematics courses
• Successfully negotiated raises for both certificated and classified unions in 2016, this was the first raise for either union in eight years
• Developed close working relationships with all four feeder districts and organized collaboration and articulation with principals, counselors, and teachers from all districts
• Meet monthly with City Managers, PTA, and feeder district Superintendents.

• Guided the district in passing a $149 million GO Bond with 61% of the vote $150 million in projects completed to date including an $80 million comprehensive high school opened in August 2013
• Provided leadership in the area of testing, accountability, and curriculum design to K-12 school district of 20,000 students
• Coordinated creation and implementation of a district wide common assessment program for all core subjects to ensure district wide consistency and alignment with state content standards
• District wide API growth of 65 points during my tenure.

• Implemented a consistent, district wide curriculum based on the California Standards by articulating and sequencing the curriculum with clear defined entry and exit points
• Addressed district Program Improvement status by implementing research based instructional strategies for EL and Special Education students
• Doubled enrollment in Advanced Placement courses
• Established an on-going articulation program with the elementary feeder districts.
