As a first-generation college student, I am pursuing higher education to create meaningful opportunities for myself and give back to others. • Vietnamese Buddhist Temple Volunteer - Supported weekly services, organized cultural events, and assisted with community outreach efforts.
• Fundraising Committee Member - Helped plan and coordinate events to support activities and community engagement; performed in cultural showcases as part of fundraising efforts.
• Dance Performer - Performed at temples, cultural holidays, and local events to promote cultural awareness and community pride.
• Vietnamese Language Class Student Leader - Assisted instructors with class activities, mentored younger students, and supported cultural learning in the temple’s weekend language program.
