I have 15 years of experience, starting as an entrepreneur at age 21 and later becoming a company's founder. I also served as the financial director and led a team of 13 people during my time there. I managed their paychecks and oversaw the company's economic situation. I developed a system to track hours and salaries based on employee performance, which proved successful. When I moved from Serbia to Norway, I gained valuable experience working with people from various countries and backgrounds. This taught me how a company's financial situation can impact its international associates. While in Norway, I managed employee hours, prepared financial reports for the sales team, and handled bookkeeping duties for the company. Later, I moved to the United States and earned certificates in accounting, digital marketing, culture, and communication from Seattle Central College. During this time, I served as the Executive of Finances for a student fund of $1.7 million. I reviewed over 30 applications, delved into their financial structures, and approved funding for the coming year.
Additionally, I established a financial committee to provide further assistance. I used my expertise to review all applications thoroughly and made informed decisions based on our research. Since then, I have worked in an accounting and tax preparation office for almost three years. I am now seeking new opportunities and am available to start within weeks. Through my work, I have gained extensive knowledge of the US tax system and have completed various projects for different companies as their accountant and tax preparer.
