  • Ran several miles of conveyor guardrail and safety netting on detail crew during construction of Amazon Warehouse Matteson, IL. ORD 5.
  • Measured and cut 20' pieces of aluminum channel via chop saw and band saw to join mid rail and top rail with connectors held up by 2' stanchions fastened and spaced 6' apart along side conveyor bed.
  • Tensioned steel cable that ran through eyelet flag of stanchion to hang netting fastened with pigtail rings.
  • Operated scissor and boom lifts to reach precarious suspended conveyor locations to continue installation of safety rail and netting.
  • Navigated through and became familiar with conveyor coordinates in 4 million sq. foot warehouse to track belts and ensure they were aligned properly within tolerance using Lock Out Tag Out procedure to power down unit.
  • Verified, where applicable, all hardware was properly secured on conveyor beds after construction.
  • Diagnosed and repaired sections of conveyor which included installing new belts up to 1000' in length and replacing torn belts that have been misaligned while in operation. Tracking belts to align to center of conveyor bed either by adjusting roller tensioning or use of tracking tape depending on style of conveyor.

  • Hoisted and maintained on job constructed and dismantled Peri Windscreen system. Saved plywood rips and 2x4 constructed safety rails to cover openings ensuring there were no gaps in between windscreens. Floor Levels 10-50.
  • Erected and sighted Peri tower scaffolds and Doka shoring material to support 16' Doka stringers, "Yellow Boys". including breaking band while tied off and spreading bunks of 16' 4x4's, (16" O.C. minimum overlay of 12") for 8" and 12" slab decking system.
  • Efficient rigging of sheer wall form.
  • Hydraulically elevated core formwork. Used wall hooks to climb and secure pancake ties before and after new level has been poured.
  • Stood up plywood forms with 2x4 backing for square columns tied together using scissor clamps. Plumbed and braced with 2x4 turnbuckles.
  • Thoroughly Installed and maintained perimeter safety guardrail system. Battery operated Hammer drill and impact wrench used to anchor vertical stanchion via 2 1/4" Tapcon anchors. Socket impact used to fasten horizontal 10' tube and clamp on stanchion with back of stanchion faced inward 12" from edge of slab. 16' 2x4 nailed with double heads to secure toe-board. Levels 2-50.
  • Installed concrete floating stairs anchoring in one side of riser(s) to wall of core and other to skirt of ramp.
