Employment-Based Immigration
- Prepare immigrant petitions, including EB-1, EB-2, and EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions.
- Prepare nonimmigrant petitions, including O-1A, O-1B, F-1, and J-1 waiver applications.
- Communicate and negotiate with USCIS officers and Department of State officials to advocate for clients and resolve case issues.
Family-Based Immigration
- Prepare and file family-based immigrant petitions, adjustment of status applications, consular processing cases, waivers of inadmissibility, and related applications for immigration relief.
- Prepare clients for USCIS and consular interviews and represent clients during USCIS interviews.
Removal Defense and Humanitarian Relief
- Prepare applications for relief, motions, legal briefs, declarations, affidavits, and other filings before the Immigration Court.
- Prepare affirmative and defensive asylum applications.
- Prepare clients for immigration court proceedings and attend Master Calendar Hearings.
- Prepare and file appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
Detention and Bond Representation
- Conduct bond eligibility consultations with detained clients and their family members.
- Prepare and submit bond applications and supporting evidence.
- Represent clients during immigration bond hearings.
Federal District Court Litigation
- Draft and file petitions for writs of mandamus and declaratory judgment actions in U.S. District Court to challenge agency delays and errors.
- Conduct legal research and draft federal court pleadings, motions, and supporting memoranda.
