Walker Faulk

Volunteer 30 hours per year for various organizations in the community. At each event I was available to assist wherever needed including set-up and clean-up, score keeping, lifting heavy objects, helping disabled kids and adults. In 2024-2025 I volunteered for the following:

• Rainier Adaptive Sports where I helped with wheelchair basketball, Beep Baseball and Goalball (at the Tacoma Boy's and Girl's Club).
• Special Olympics
• Fish Food Bank

Created website focused on the Americans with Disabilities Act and it's historical significance. This was a joint project with an 8th grade classmate. This experience taught me how to function as a team, how to be a good leader, and how to set big goals.

• The website won first place at Kopachuck Middle School.
• The website won first place in the district.
• The website won second place in the state.
• Advanced to the National Competition and traveled to Washington D.C. and presented to a panel of judges.

• Pressure washed deck and sidewalks to remove algae and moss.
• Moved heavy objects for optimal cleaning.
• Operated Pressure Washer equipment safely and efficiently to meet specific job requirements.

• Edged sidewalks, driveways, and landscape features using line trimmer.
• Removed rocks and other items from lawn for mower safety and clean appearance.
• Loaded and unloaded mowing equipment at each location.
• Negotiated payment with neighbors.

Assisted with painting doors and trim for family members. Work included prep, detail work, clean-up.
