  • WHITE HOUSE ENDORSEMENT – Selected to speak in the Senate Chambers with the H.E.L.P. Committee senior staff on how apprenticeship programs can have a positive impact in the national workforce. This resulted in the organization being endorsed by the White House as a training program matching workers with the skills they need for the jobs of today. This prestigious recognition was in conjunction when President Obama signed the “Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act”.
  • Within 18 months secured over $775,000 of government funding for the IEC’s Apprenticeship program in Memphis TN for the tuition, student manuals, reference materials, and hand tools for over 125 electrical and low voltage apprentices.
  • Selected as the National Independent Electrical Contractors Association’s Executive Director of the Year for consistently displaying excellence in leadership, membership development, and increasing the quality of education the IEC delivers to the Apprenticeship Program.
  • Successfully managed 3 different apprenticeship programs; the IEC’s 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship Program, the IEC’s 2-year Low Voltage Apprenticeship Program, and the Associate Builders & Contractors 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship Program all of which were simultaneously registered with the Department of Labor / Office of Apprenticeship.
  • Responsible for the budget management of a $2,300,000 a year revenue agency. Within 18 months managed the reduction of the profit and loss measurement by 42%.
  • Planned, Organized, and Implemented the Department of the Navy's academic single-shift objective. Recognized a 1.2 million dollar saving by identifying a course of action that eliminated the need for additional equipment procurements.
  • Structured the maintenance schedules of 18 aircraft that led to over 155,000 accident-free flight hours. Was recognized by the Secretary of the Navy with the presentation of the Navy Achievement Medal for sustained superior performance.
