Electronic Security Program Manager

Managed the JBMDL Electronic Security System Program, which includes facility IDS across JBMDL, unit Access Control, Anti-Vehicle Barriers, Wrong-Way and Overspeed Detection Systems. Monitors and conducts system administrative duties supporting the ESS assets. Coordinates with civilian technology experts to review new technologies and explore integrations into existing infrastructure. Performs site visits with potential contractors, writes contracts and performs project management for the installation and acceptance. Upon completion of contracts, conducts government testing and acceptance to ensure systems perform as required. Oversees the daily work of up to three contract personnel that provide maintenance of the JBMDL IDS, Access Control, Physical Access Control Systems and Panic Alarms. Conducts direct install and routine maintenance of Security Cameras to ensure the system operates as required. Led through innovation through the first AMC purchase of APNext radios and the first USAF base to have CAC enabled networked cameras to monitor the cameras. Continually works to enhance unit capabilities during joint responses with local law enforcement and took a radio program that was in failure due to faulty programming and extended it from eight working channels to 354 channels containing multiple layers of encryption for direct contact with our state and municipal partners.
