• Assists staff nurses with their tasks like vital signs taking and blood glucose monitoring
• Administer medications to patients under the direct supervision of the staff nurse via oral, IV, IM, SQ, and PEG routes
• Inserts peripheral IV on patient under direct supervision of the staff nurse
• Document medications given on the MAR under staff nurse supervision
• Documents vital signs using EPIC System
• Presents patients’ reports using SBAR method and makes notes on EPIC System using SOAP method
• Performs head to toe assessments for new admitted patients under direct supervision of the staff nurse
• Performs wound and tracheostomy care on patients under direct supervision of the clinical instructor
