I have provided Batterers Intervention services since 2013. I do the Domestic Violence Inventory with each individual who is referred to me. I provide a report on the results of the DVI, along with collateral information provided by police reports/affidavits, DHS reports, ODCR, and other collateral resources to support recommendations for services. Within the Batterers Intervention Program I provide classroom instruction to men &/or women who batter. I follow up with them in regards to them owning their abusive behavior. I believe that without them owning it there will be no change; and that is what the Batterers Intervention Program is all about. To bring about lasting change and to break the cycle of abuse.
