  • Managed a chemical precursor manufacturing site including a research and development group. Direct manager for 7 managers and 100+ employees in this organization. Accountable for site P&L, capex, and all plant activities (Operations, EH&S, Finance, Quality, HR, Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain).
  • Also, Coordinator for Deposition Material business, coordinating multiple sites in EMEA, Americas, and APEC. In this coordination role, multiple efficiencies were identified and implemented resulting in improved safety, quality and output of manufacturing and R&D locations globally.
  • Sales more than doubled since 2015 – 2018 primarily due to improved efficiency and customer relationships.
  • Responsible for SAP implementation, and design and build of 23,000-sqft site expansion for R&D and operations.
  • Implemented continuous improvement program. In the first 6 months reduced labor time by 345 hours and a cost savings of ~$367,000 a year.
  • Implemented safety culture training and an incident investigation process for the site that reduced safety incidences. 0 lost time cases since June 2015 through 2018.

  • Highly involved in implementing Lean manufacturing systems in the factory. Helped developed Lean material and trained factory employees. Reduced factory cycle time from 70+ days to 25 days. Cost was reduced by 33% the following year using Lean methodologies while improving yield metrics.
  • Led multiple projects including moving operations from Ireland to Massachusetts. Qualified tools, trained engineers and technicians and designed layout of the new site. This saved $2.3 million.
  • Participated in a team designed to change the safety culture of the factory. Helped teach over 800+ employees. Employees have internalized safety as a value. This significantly reduced OHSA recordables for the factory.
