Client Directed Lending:

• Ranked by the client in their quarterly custodian rankings as their most preferred custodian for Securities lending (No 1 for 10 consecutive quarters) among their 5 custodians.
• Streamlined existing Client Directed Lending operations by identifying gaps in procedures, process controls, trainings etc. Worked with key strategic client on understanding their requirements and working with IT to bridge the system and automation required to service the client efficiently.
• Oversee all US CDL clients work managed out of Chicago and Bangalore.

Sponsored Repo

• Played role of Operational Lead and SME in helping Capital Markets launch Sponsored repo business at end of 2021.
• Worked with Product specialist, architects, accounting, finance teams and vendor to develop a product that in matter for 3 years resulted in 40M revenue for NT. My role was to ensure that we understand the product and develop an operational process and infrastructure that can support and enable to grow and scale the product.
• Championed multiple automation efforts through last 3 years to ensure that we continue to find scale and productivity as the product was growing exponentially.
• Hiring team in Chicago & then Bangalore including Team Leaders in both locations and ensure that new partners are trained of process.
• · Manage and oversee the function which also involved one of the highest USD cash flows within Northern Trust
• · Led effort to develop system resiliency for our cash wire process which was established at end of 2024.
• · Working in group led by IT to create resilience for our stock movements.

Also, currently working with Product and technology for launch of new product called Enhanced Liquidity and lead the Ops team. We have done some token trades and expect the launch the project full scale late this year once automation efforts are completed.

• Operations Lead of Securities Finance team managing the department of 80+ partners which included Trade Support, Collateral Management, Corporate Actions, Client Directed Lending, Reconciliations and onboarding groups.
• Supervised 4 Section managers and 2 Sr Consultants directly. Ensured them and their direct staff are compliant with policies and procedures.
• Led hiring efforts including campus hiring's, onboarding and training of new hires to fulfill business requirements.
• Conducted regular performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address them.
• Manage the compensation and headcount strategy for the department.
• Reviewed KPI's and KRI's regularly to ensure that we are managing the client expectations and providing quality service and any gaps are acted quickly.
• Helped enhanced product understanding in the group that is usually operations centric which helps the team to appreciate their work and risk involved.
• Handled staff training initiatives specially aimed at staff understanding the underlying products aimed at upskill the teams to better appreciate risk and activities they perform.
• Created cross department product training module for Securities Services which included Custody groups.

• Assignment to Establish presence of Securities Lending Operations in Manila.
• Migrate work from Bangalore and Hong Kong
• Work included managing the new groups in Manila which included Trade Support, Collateral Management, Corporate Actions and Reconciliations of our Asian clients and borrowers.
• Hired partners at various levels including local manager to replace me after completing my assignment.
• Successfully established 4 sub functions which was running with minimum supervision from other locations at end of my term.
