Life Saving Award

During my time as a correctional officer, I have seen the good, bad, and ugly. This awful an tragic situation happened shortly before enrolling into college. While working my assigned post an inmate attempted to take his own life. As we responded to this call, my fellow officers, and myself worked vigorously to bring him back to life. Which after a few days that was spent in the hospital, this individual made a full recovery!
