I am currently attending a Higher Nitec Mechanical Engineering course in ITE College West which is enabling me to gain many relevant and important skills to become a very capable engineer equipped with skills such as 3D CAD, skills, good presentation skills as well as the ability to handle high stress situations in the workshop. I have also gain many other skills that can be handy from my different part time jobs that i've worked during the holidays. Such as gaining experiences in warehouse safety and restocking. Accurately picking and packing items in preparation for shipment. Punctual, team-oriented employee who is willing to work overtime. This means I will show up to work on time every day. As a mechanical engineer in manufacturing, we need to make sure we are selecting the best parts while being cost efficient to maximise our work output and product quality. Having worked part time in the warehouse, I am a highly skilled picker with a strong track record of selecting and packing high production products. Excellent accuracy in picking and packing, successfully meeting quotas at a high production rate. Assisted the shipping team with palletizing, labeling and loading trucks. Having expectation time management as well as having a strong and good attitude towards work is very important skills as a mechanical engineer is also very crucial in the working world. Throughout my part-time employment, I have acquired these two important skills, such as the ability to work in a fast-paced mechanical engineering workshop and reorganize merchandise in an appealing manner. I am a cheerful and friendly team player with a good attitude and a willingness to take on any task.
