Safety

Safety is my number 1 priority as an employee is to make sure I have a safety mentality. I am locked out tag out trained. Understand to eliminate all energy sources (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and glasses) to make sure that all Connecticut stored energy is eliminated before working on equipment.

Skillstrades

Hydraulics

Rebuilding repair of hydraulic cylinders, Hydraulic valves understand the difference between pilot valve and Flow control valve and a high pressure valve. Some Rebuilding and repairing hydraulic pumps.

Pneumatic

Electrical

Know how to use a tester. Understand what is a breaker, contactor, coil, drives, transformer, relays, wired electric motors 110-220 -480. understand 3 phase wiring.

Plc

Photocells, proximity switches, limit switches, Magnetic Proximity switches. (Mostly used for pneumatic cylinders) Inputs, outputs, Negative and positive 24DC. Understanding basics of plc.

Weldingfabrication

Stick (6011-7018 stainless steel), mig (aluminum-stainless steel). Do not know how to tig but willing to learn. cutting torch. oxygen and acetylene, oxygen and propane, oxygen and hydrogen, plasma cutter. shear and brake. I do not know how to air arc. I never had the opportunity. I can fabricate small parts or build ladders and scaffolding.

Toolknowledge

basic hand tools, ratchet, wrenches, screwdrivers. pneumatic tools, impact (3/8 1/2 3/4 1'), ratchet, descaler, slugger, saw, etc. power tools, grinder, drill, drill press, bandsaw, handheld pipe threader, floor mounted pipe threader, portaband, chop saw, table saw, skill saw, overhead crane, shear, etc. would like to be Safety educated on how to use a bridgeport and a metal lathe.

Hobbies: I have built sheds, gazebos, swing sets, trash cans, headboards and some cabinets. remodeling my house. Collecting parts to build a rat rod.
