In the next five years, I expect to be retiring from active-duty military service and applying for jobs in the government intelligence sector as a federal employee or independent contractor. I have worked in the intelligence field for 16+ years and have a wide range of experience with using a variety of bespoke database and software applications used to conduct signals focused intelligence analysis and reporting. During that time, I've recognized a significant need for information and knowledge management skills and have identified multiple opportunities to improve the usability of analyst (user) facing tools to create more intuitive, expedient workflows. This degree would help enhance the skills I have instinctively developed in support of my current line of work. Alternatively, this program would add a polish to an already well-rounded skill set in design and analysis that would provide me the ability to pursue other data and technology focused human computer interaction roles in the private sector.

I have college and professional experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and ArcGIS applications that include courses in visual communications and print layout. I have personally and professionally produced infographics, logos, posters, briefing slides, and web layouts for several government, private, and community organizations, to include the development of my very own board game that I hope to publish within the next year!
