Summary

I have worked at the Transfer Station since 1996 . The last few years I have been given the opportunity to put my experience to work. At Weber County's Transfer Station, I spearheaded initiatives that significantly enhanced waste management efficiency and fostered environmental consciousness among the community, and fellow team members.

For example, My expertise in waste management and strong problem-solving skills led to the development of a new recycling program that improved proficiency, directly contributing to cost savings through state grants by removing tires from the general waste stream. I also implemented new standards for credit application services, changing credit practices that had been in place for decades, which will provide better lending protection and compliance for the county. I have consistently worked to ensure each team member feels valued through internal recognition, and praise. I have also started an Employee of the month program which I feel has contributed in building a better culture within the Transfer Station.
