- Work with MSU Athletics to provide academic advising for undeclared student athletes
- Engage with ACCESS students to provide an advising experience and assist with career development
- While advising, meet with students to discuss course progress, degree paths, resolve academic problems, and connect students to the appropriate campus resources
- Assist undeclared students in their preparation for choosing the correct major and career
- Coordinate with other MSU departments for students’ major changes, overrides, readmission, and holds
- Represent the UAAC during Scholar’s Recognition Day, Preview Days, Scholar Days, and Academic Insight Days
- Attend and am a member of the MSU Advising Council and NACADA which is the Global Community for Academic Advising.

- Also created and maintained the MyCourses pages for all of the sophomore courses, which included creating new pages every semester, updating syllabi and class schedules, formatting exams and quizzes online, entering grades from exams, quizzes and homework, and posting notes and slides.
