• Evaluate residents prior to admission to determine level of care required.
• Supervised the Assisted Living Staff including, but not limited to the Caregivers and Med-Techs.
• Works closely with staff and designated agent(s) to identify resident problems, concerns, and issues; follow up as needed, and communicate the same appropriately..
• Ensure all assessments and service plan agreements are updated. Participate in service plan conferences, maintain medication and treatment records.
• Act as Resident advocate in medical-social situations involving Resident and/or designated agents, physician, other agents or agencies.
• Evaluate health emergencies and determine emergency medical measures taken regarding Resident care.
• Work with the Executive Director to supervise, oversee and coordinate the work of Care Partners to meet Resident needs

• Experience in caring for a diverse population aged 18-90+ with behavioral/mental health challenges (bipolar, manic, MDD, schizophreniform disorders, suicide attempt, ineffective coping, autism, developmental delay, intellectual disability polysubstance abuse, anger issues, suicidal and homicidal
• Leading the daily care plan meeting with the comprehensive treatment team (in attendance with psychiatric providers, mental health associates (MHAs), social work, court liaisons, and care management) to create collaborative and individualized care plans
• Direct supervision of staff RNs, MHAs and PTS (patient team support)
• Milieu management in an ever-changing acute stabilization unit to create and maintain a safe and caring environment.
• Timely and effective behavioral management and to avoid seclusion or restraint.
• Intake/referrals, in-hospital & out of county, reviewing the pertinent patient information with the admitting psychiatrist for admit.
