Worked with a team approach to care for patients with acute and chronic lung issues. Responsible for phone triage (under RN supervision) rooming of patients, any needed respiratory testing (spirometer, 6 minute walks, oximetry and O2 certification). Anticipated needs of both patient and MD prior to office visit. Assisted in coordination of cares, physical assessments. Documentation for CMN's and regulatory monitoring.

Under RN supervision, assisted with patient assessments and coordination of medical care. Goal of keeping family and MD involved, while encouraging as much independence as possible. Assisted in home visits prior to admission, and care levels anticipated. Oversight of medication staff, and simple treatments. Multidisciplinary team approach.

Managed medical showroom for DME entity of Allina Health. Set up clients in our medical showroom on both simple and complex medical equipment. Provided teaching and regulatory documentation. Additional duties included measuring for custom compression garments as well as mastectomy product fittings.

Floor nursing in sub acute/TCU. Worked with patients to regain as much independence as possible. Duties included IV insertion and maintenance, routine and complex wound care, tube feedings, ADL assistance, medication administration. Multidisciplinary approach for total patient care Needs. Documentation of patient progress and maintaining process/procedures for regulatory agencies. Very involved with families, and coordinating care for needs at discharge.
