  • Created and implemented Sierra Mountain Express’ Dispatch System that integrated into the financial system, GreatPlains.
  • Developed a yard inventory system that is used to scan VINs in the yard, compare it to the inventory in dispatch, and show the differences between what was scanned and what was released to us. This allows the users to see quickly if a VIN is in the wrong bay location or if it is not in the system at all.
  • Created a repository for company asset tracking
  • Designed and launched a new website where drivers can apply for opportunities
  • Developed document scanning procedure, had all documents for accounting tagged and stored electronically for referencing
  • Able to successfully train and communicate with the staff in China. Train them on several modules within the dispatch system so that they can continue to process claims.
  • Collaborated with other departments to help meet IT needs and properly integrate and secure systems. Created and developed an accounting module for settlements that is tied into the dispatch system, this software pulls all the pay data for drivers. It also allows for the upload of deductions such as fuel, tires, registration, etc.
  • Streamlined processes through the automation of routine accounting tasks, increasing team productivity and reducing manual effort. This was accomplished by replacing the outdated accounts receivable interface, this reduced the accounting staff's time to process invoicing and payments while also reducing the amount of time China spent on accounting tasks.

Did this by implementing the tracking of trucks and trailer maintenance through dispatch, this tracks inspection and insurance information, if one is due and not updated, it turns off the ability to get and deliver loads.
