I am a National Geographic Certified Educator. I received the highest score (Level 5) given to educators in Tennessee every year those scores were given. I served on the Alternate Assessment Review Committee for standardized testing for the State of Tennessee (June 2018). I served on the Balanced Leadership Committee for my school district (2018-2019 school year). I also served as a Mentor Teacher, helping new teachers within their first year of teaching learn the ropes of teaching middle school.
