Temporarily filled in as DON for Sanctuary at The Park while building closed. Overseeing operations of nursing staff and building.

• Manage up to 40 residents, direct supervision of floor nurses and CENAs. In charge of managing care plans, attending care conferences with families and residents, setting up appointments (including follow up and specialty appointments) and auditing health files. Worked daily with physicians, NP's, wound nurses and Hospice to provide best care for residents. Speaking with families to provide information and education. This position required on call every other weekend to provide support to to nursing staff. Is also required strong organizational and management skills.

Responsible for up to 40 residents and 10 staff. Duties included, but were not limited to administering medications and performing wound care and other daily treatments. Following orders. Knowledge of PICC lines, wound vacs, IV's, Foley's and other catheter care. Daily communication with physicians, NP, wound nurse, pharmacy, Hospice staff, and families. Other duties included ordering medications, entering new orders, and processing new admissions. This position is very fast paced and requires organization and proficiency.

• Collaborated with physicians to quickly assess critically ill patients and deliver appropriate treatment while managing rapidly changing conditions.
• Responded rapidly to critical codes to coordinate stabilization treatments and restore vital functions
