Lived in Palo Alto, California for most of my life. Graduated from Palo Alto High School and then attended Rhode island School of Design from 2019-2022. Started doing art at the age of 6 and have continued ever since. Very interested in oil painting and the endless possibilities in expression. Fearless with usage of color and is very capable of creating work of interest.
Help with the teaching of young children in art. Provide children with a "basic" guideline of drawing; specifically, the process of art-making: what do you want to express? How to listen to outside voices, and to be brave to express. The teaching experience also grants me the opportunity to work along with the children in China.
Help with process of producing art work: painting unfilled spaces with selected colors, measuring length of work to match the desired size, communication with artist to offer input on possible changes, etc. Spent a total of 30 days in Japan to also learns its culture, ethics, and people.
An opportunity of working along side talented interior designers on the Museum of Xian, China. To learn about the process of interior design through participating in discussion, design crowdsourcing through Zoom/skype. The internship provides me with a lens on how a "real-world" design studio functions; though very different from my chosen craft, it is significant for my growth as an artist.
Help with coming up ideas of visual "identity" for the Chinese Cultural Hall for 2020 Dubai World Expo. As one of the contributors of idea, I was humbled by the team-effort experience: a very specific procedure of production that has be precise, clear and creative. I was not physically able to travel to Dubai for a more in-depth team experience due to Corona Virus concern/school. I stayed in the US for online meeting that is set up through "Zoom".
