Hired at Hood Container as laborer, gaining extensive experience in operations. I worked up the line of progression for over 8 years. I trained and learned how to perform many different jobs in different departments in the mill.

• Advocated for additional funding opportunities to provide necessary resources for underserved students and schools within the district.
• Ensured fiscal responsibility through thorough review of district finances and strategic allocation of funds to programs and services.
• Addressed concerns of the community by actively participating in public meetings and listening to feedback from stakeholders regarding educational policies and practices.
• Developed strategic plans outlining priorities and goals related to budget allocation, personnel management, facilities planning, and program implementation.
• Supported fellow board members in developing and implementing policies designed to enhance academic achievement and overall school performance.
• Served 4 years on the Humphreys county school board as the district 4 representative. Served one year as vice chairman, and one year as the chairman of the board.

• Operator gel coat spray gun, chop resin gun, foam gun, bathtub finisher, and chemical mixer that made all the gel coat and resin for the entire plants process. Was also the quality tech for a year and sent to the main plant for supervisor training
• Maintained quality control standards throughout production runs.
• Conducted routine maintenance on production equipment and tools.
