My journey at SNF Flopam began as a Material Handler where main duty was to load tanker trucks and rail cars. I quickly progressed to Outside operator in my unit (Acrylamide). With this came the duties of keeping the plant running by doing proper rounds, tending to process needs, and proper housekeeping. We also do many safety checks around the plant. As of now I am Board Operator qualified (working on SQ). As BO I am responsible for making sure the right formula is used and adjusting it based on readings like PH and RI. I watch levels, flows, pressures, and temps to verify the unit is running correctly. I load tanker trucks and rails to the proper amount based on the costumers order. I also maintain an extensive log book both in paper and on computer.

I am also on the Safety Committee as well as all the ERT teams such as (Fire, Hazmat, confined space rescue, and Medical)

At Barn Hill Preserve I have completed many jobs that vary greatly. From day to day I work on anything from welding panels together to framing buildings. One of my biggest achievements at Barn Hill Preserve was the completion of welding a walk in bird aviary.

At Magnolia Ridge Adventure Park I assist customers through a zip line course. I also practice many safety protocols to make sure that both the customers and I are as safe as possible. I have helped to train many of the new employees on these same safety protocols.
