  • As Chief Program Manager I directly answer to the Deputy Assistant Director of the USMS Asset Forfeiture Division. I work with all United States Attorney’s Offices providing guidance in the valuation, management, maintenance, marketing, sales and closings of all forfeited, seized, restrained or otherwise compromised assets. The USMS as sole custodian of all assets seized or forfeited by the USDOJ, I have four units under my direct management, as well as the responsibility for oversight of our personnel in the USMS’ 93 district offices in the USA and its territories.1. Real Property and associated notes deeds of trust on oil and gas leases; management of an Assistant Chief, and that person’s staff of four FED Contracting Officer’s Representatives and tor with approximately 30 personnel who take custody, manage, provide maintenance, and market and sell real property domestically and internationally. The 3-5,000 unit portfolio of pending and active real property under jurisdiction. This includes residential, commercial, industrial, office high rise, hotel, and co-ops, ranging in individual value from $50,000.00 to $150 million in the USA, its territories, and all participating countries world-wide. 2. Personal Property; Management of an Assistant Chief and that person’s staff of ten including contractors. This inventory is generally about 100,000 units which includes all autos, jewelry and watches, FF&E, all aircraft, all types of vessels, including Russian Oligarch’s yachts valued at more than $500 million, business inventories, and all forms of confiscated illegal contraband, fighting dogs and roosters. Also the seized property from businesses such as gyms, retail stores, all personal property except cash. 3. Complex Assets; The management of an Assistant Chief and that person’s staff of 8-10 including contractors. This inventory includes operating businesses, Crypto Currency like Bitcoin, Securities and Stock, such as the sale of ROBINHOOD from the FTX case selling for $500 million plus in 2023. Also, the Madoff case, insurance policies, Loan portfolios of both real and personal property, management of operating hotels, multi-story office buildings, multi-unit apartment complexes, and the assets forfeited from fraud cases. 4. International Unit, Management of an Assistant Chief and that person’s staff of three. This unit handles the seizure for the USDOJ of property domestically and internationally via the This inventory consists of all real and personal property seized, forfeited, and recovered and held for sale by our foreign counterparts via Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty, agreements with the USDOJ and US State Department worldwide. These assets are then marketed and sold by the USMS via our Real Property National Contractor.
