I am hardworking and have been with the company for 7 and a half years where I have worked in both the Panel and Truss departments. I learn thing very quickly and am eager to learn new things. Since being employed I have only called in for 1 day. I am always one of the 1st employees in and one of the last to leave everyday. I am reliable and lead by example every day.
I received my Multi-craft A position in the Panel Department where I learned every position of the Exterior Line on Shop Net and Panel Vision. I began learning some of Onyx before I received my current position in the truss department where we use the Iris and Mitek computer system. I have also used some of the alpine software for the saws in the truss department. I have 13 employees currently under me that I coordinate where the y work as well as coordinate with the other Multi-craft A's in my department to utilize the people that are present to complete the jobs needed.
I was a Lead Truss Framer where I started building Medium trusses and then ran a 3 man truss team where we met our outstanding goal regularly. I would bring to the attention of my leads issues with blueprints and software issues. I learned the Mitek software and the Iris and Planx system. I also volunteered to go to Richmond to help out there when it first opened up.
Learned the whole truss process including the the Mitek software and Planx system as well as reading the blueprints for truss building. Volunteered to work Saturdays when asked.
I observed and documented the daily activities and the locations of the inmates in my area which could be up to 96 inmates at a time. I responded to all incidents that occurred as they would arise. I worked in the property room where I would have to inventory and check all property entering and exiting the facility. I would also have to communicate with Headquarters to facilitate the inmates entering and exiting the facility and log the in the state OBCIS and OCMS software. I had to pass a proficiency test to carry a weapon for the state which I would volunteer often to take inmates on trips to the hospitals that would last longer than my standard shift as well as volunteering to work on my normally scheduled days off.
