My objective is to pursue a long term position within the mining industry in Alaska, where I can grow and further develop my skills as a miner.
With the M.A.P.T.S Part 48B New Miner training certificate in hand and the heavy equipment training I received at their Delta Mine Training Center facility, I have invested my time and applied myself to improve my skill set.
OSHA compliance
At the MAPTS Delta Mine Training Center, I not only earned an MSHA Part 48b New Miner Certificate, but also operated heavy trucks and equipment seven days per week in a realistic camp rotation setting. After two weeks working a 7/10 shift, I am prepared to work this schedule in a rotation job. My favorite part of the MAPTS training was learning to operate the rock trucks, and hope to begin my carreer as a mining truck driver. I'm an Alaska Native, with certificate of Indian blood to verify this. I also have a valid Alaska driver license. I am interested in obtaining a CDL license.
