I am an enthusiastic engineering graduate in hopes of achieving a career in the manufacturing industry. I have over ten years of work experience in the construction industry, where I performed a variety of different roles; until eventually running my own business as I finished my engineering education. In the nearly two years since graduation, I found myself in a position where working left me with a hollow feeling. I believed it could be explained by the sunk cost fallacy, but after it persisted, life led me to the conclusion that I wasn't reaching my full potential. At the University of Michigan College of Engineering I experienced immense growth as a person, despite what my transcript reflects which is a relatively ambivalent experience with more struggles than successes. But it is my ambition to prove that my overall experience at Michigan produced an innovative, enthusiastic, ethical and resilient professional.
