My name is Wesley Witt. I've been working as an Electrical Apprentice for a year and a half. I had the opportunity to learn basic electrical techniques such as wiring plugs, switches, and light fixtures. Along with learning electrical skills I've learned skills that make me an overall better worker. With work starting at 7 a.m. I learned to be on time no matter how far the jobs were. I would have to set my alarms accordingly and pay attention to road conditions. At Ralph's grocery company, I provided customer service early on while in high school. Another good skill Ralph's taught me is to keep a clean and safe environment for the customers shopping the store. I also applied these techniques in my latest job talking to homeowners and contractors about their needs. I also kept my workspace neat as to prevent any hazards such as live wires or trip hazards. These skills taught me how to be aware of my surroundings.
