Additional Information

I am a passionate individual who is seeking a new challenging career in the business/management field. After being a certified radiologic technologist for the last 8 years, I realized my interest is elsewhere. I will be transferring to MOBAP as an undergraduate in the spring, 01/01/2024, to earn the bachelor’s in applied management degree. I am a hardworking individual who strives to achieve the best in all areas, and I am always eager to learn new skills and advance my career. With working in healthcare for the past eight years, primarily as a Radiologic Technologist, I have become very well-rounded, and I have acquired several other skills along the way, including some Office Administration skills that will be extremely beneficial for this new season I am about to enter.

It is very clear that I do not have the hands-on experience most positions require, but with that, I am hopeful that someone will be willing to take a chance on me. If they do, I will strive to be and do the best I can to earn my place.

"I will prepare and someday my chance will come."

Taking Chances.....

My grandfather, years ago, told me about his challenges right out of college. He had went on several interviews, all that he had attended turned him away because he didn't have hands-on experience. This final interview he was asked to come in for, was about to say the exact same thing as the rest, but my grandfather said, I understand I don't have the experience, but can I ask you a question before I go? He then said, how do I gain experience if no employer is willing to give me a chance. He was then later called and offered that particular job where he quickly became a leader, won many awards, and eventually retired.

Someone in school, pursuing a degree, or a newly graduated student needs that one person to take a chance on them. Taking a chance is the only way to eliminate fear. I am excited and hopeful that the right person will take a chance on me.
