Attentive veterinary assistant passionate about promoting animal health and extending lives of pets. Dedicated and focused professional with several years of experience assisting veterinarians in examining animals to determine nature of illnesses or injuries. Comfortable restraining and holding animals for extended periods of time.
I have worked in Veterinary Medicine for 10 years and become more passionate about it each year. It is not an easy field to be in, but the longer I am in this field I see just how important it is. I am also a Mom to two young children so finding that work/life balance hasn't been easy, but my family understands how important my work is.
I have three of my own dogs; A Golden Retriever named Peyton, a German Shepherd named Pretzel, and a Chaweenie named Bullet. We also just added a Kitten for our Daughter, whom she named Smokey.
I thrive in busy environments and enjoy being kept on my toes. I remain calm in stressful situations, which I credit to my many years in the field and the opportunities I have had in different hospital enviornments.
