Scheduling Coordinator

Sterilization

  • Start with set up. Unload clean instruments set up clean and dirty space then load dirty for cold and hot.
  • Print off daily schedule to prepare tray set ups for the appointments we need made while maintaining throughout the day additional trays needed by following the schedule and the CC's lead.
  • Keep instruments hot and cold timely rotated while maintaining turning the clinic, tray set ups, and taki g New patients and Observation patients in my chair column
  • Maintaining a tidy clinic
  • Keep the clinic, sterilization, and back lab stocked
  • Teamwork by cleaning up whatever is left behind dirty
  • A.m. and p.m. housekeeping duties as well as keeping the clinic looking clean.

While working maintain a clear clean space and be available to grab or do anything for the Dr., Assistant, TC, or Patient.

Training

Show how to communicate with the patient, parent , TC, and Dr.Train every new hire how to run sterilization and records
Teach appointment types with corresponding trays
Explain basic orthodontic terms and practice how and when to apply what routine and trays for each appointments to familiarize for efficency
I created and implemented a training program using
Rollplay, training drills, workbooks, shadow exchange, I'd create a pretend chart to help train importing records and charting.

Other Responsibilities

  • Performed regular quality assurance tests on autoclave units to ensure proper functioning.
