  • My role allows me review grant contracts and identify errors such as missing billing identifications and invoice numbers, contracts in pending status, contracts that require amendments, contracts with rate set errors, contracts that exceed their billing limits, contracts with a mismatch between the start date and effective date, and speed chats.
  • Performing accounts payable transactions in electronic databases and the reconciling of general ledger accounts against transaction queries.
  • Preparing financial activity reports for use by internal auditors and external customers
  • Creating new customer bank accounts in Edison by using MICR and ACH information, deactivating, and reactivating customer bank deposit accounts.
  • Preparing the Treasury State Agreement (TSA) and submit to US Treasury within 30 days of the issuance of the Single Audit Report
  • This task requires mastering the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) threshold calculation.
  • Maintaining offline tracking worksheets and preparing interest analysis at year-end and submit the Cash Management Improvement Act (CMIA) Annual Report to United States Financial Management Service (FMS) no later than December 31st.
  • During the performance cycle August 1st to July 31st Fiscal Calendar, processing manual deposits within iNovah for payroll and ineligible items/nonconforming images for central processing agencies in accordance with the requirements of Policy 25
  • Deposits should be made using the proper allocation accounting codes.
  • Prioritizing workload to ensure that all deposits over $500 are processed within 24 hours and all deposits under $500 are processed within 5 working days of receiving the deposit documentation from the agency.
  • Coordinating the collection of State agency Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and submit to State Audit before March 31, 2024.
  • Coordinating the collection of State agency responses for the Summary Schedule of Prior Year Audit Findings (SSPAF) and submit to State Audit in accordance with their established deadlines.
