Work History

Test Lab Senior Engineer

  • Established and created a new Test Standards Procedure (TSP) system for the lab. The old system was not updated since 2008. As of 12/31/2024, a total of 454 Test Standard Procedures have been created. It is at 93% on track of updating all of the TSP annually.
  • Collaborated with Test Engineering teams to review the TSP and agree that the Test being performed will match the requirements and Specs.
  • Started tracking the TSP in the Labs METteam (FLUKE) database that sets out a reminder to the Leads / Supervisors. Like any of our tools/equipment our Test procedures need to be calibrated to the latest and greatest level every year.
  • Manage Test failure root cause analysis and implemented solutions.
  • Responsible in reviewing and submitting the D&D request from Test Engineering teams. I am responsible in supporting all the review with VPM and RM for any questions for D&D for the whole 5080 team.
  • Completed the Business Continuity for the 5080 team. Work with Headquarters directly and completed the task on time.
  • Improved project efficiency by streamlining engineering processes and implementing innovative solutions. Sample is the Video system for FMVSS Testing.

Design Satellite Office Senior Engineer

  • Acted as liaison between NTCNA-FH and the Canton Assembly Plant.
  • Making sure that the vehicle are built to Nissan Standard and do Root Cause Analysis on any plant Part/Build quality concerns we have.
  • Worked with PQE and the Suppliers to verify parts for testing. Visited Supplier plants and review any trial or quality concerns they have at their facilities.
  • Increased operational efficiency and quality by identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes on the assembly line accordingly.
  • Has the most commodity experience of all engineers in the team. Was responsible for Interior Trim, CPM, Electrical, Electronics and Restraints. Performed and led trials and test in the plant for NTCNA design teams.
  • Have trained at least 3 of the 7 current Engineers in the satellite Office on how to deal with issues that is being brought to design.
  • Started the Nissan robotics programs as an outreach for Nissan, using the same principles and style at NTCNA Farmington Hills. Total of 9 students and within one [1] season, the team won 2nd place for the State of Mississippi VEX-IQ contest. The team qualified and competed in Louisville, KY VEX World Competition.

Restraints Senior Project Engineer

  • Design and Release of all restraint components. (ODS, Crash Sensors, Crash Calibration, Steering Wheel, Driver Airbag, Seat Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Curtain Airbag and Seatbelt)

  • Worked with Interior Trim and electronics team to package the parts that I am responsible for. Making sure that any quality concern is not created by our components for their commodities.
