Interests

I learned computer software and hardware beginning in the early 1980s I have continued all my learning in every area that crosses my path Learning things is probably my greatest passion in life, as well as experiencing all manner of things worldwide I was a very good portrait artist for many years, as well as an accomplished guitarist and singer, until arthritis hit my fingers My voice is still good I rebuilt houses, classic VW Beetles, computers, appliances, and many other devices or machines I was married for about 40 years until my wife decided she deserved a huge chunk of my pension buy-out, which is why I need to work in my old age, whereas she is well-provisioned for life (we remain good friends due to my total lack of animosity for any human being) We have four kids and one grandson together I love gardening, not vegetables or fruit, but plants generally I was a Master Scuba Diver for many years, participating in dives adventures in the Caribbean, the Gulf, and Hawaii I devoted many years of my life living overseas, not all at once, but spread out over the course of my career from 1979 until 2013 For example, I lived in China for about 15 months total, but not all at the same time I love to read books, increasingly non-fiction, and to write in my journals, of which I have accumulated thousands of pages of my experiences and observations I have been all over the world many times
