My name is William Barton II and I am currently 20 years old. I have graduated high school, and now currently in collage for a Bachelors of science in mechanical engineering. My senior year I jumped straight into the advanced automotive class where I earned my student ASE certification. I spent four years in the AFJROTC drill team at my high school I've been in scouts since I was in first grade up until i made eagle scout in 2022. Shortly after that I joined the army to help afford collage and so I can peruse my interest in the automotive industry. I am currently Helping the FSAE team manufacture the frame for our race car. I'm always looking for more ways to improve and grow my work ethics and skills.
Ever since I was fifteen I have been locating and repairing old or damaged parts on my first car. Recently I just bought a 1987 Acura Integra that i am fixing up to be reliably driven on the road. To make a lot of these repairs requires the ability to problem solve and research things that may help with the final product of your task or project.
