A typhoon destroyed three of four fuels facilities rendering the fueling of aircraft and vehicles base wide. Was able to order and replace parts of the three facilities in under a month allowing operations base wide to continue flowing.
Converted a contingency facility into a flight line facility allowing increased efficiency and flight line distribution
Distributed 2 million gallons of aviation fuel to 1,156 United States and partner-nation aircraft powering tanker and bomber task exercises within the Pacific Command
Selected for a 4-person storm ride-out team during Typhoon Mawar which was Guam’s worst typhoon in 20 years. During the typhoon, contained a 6,000-gallon fuel spill while collaborating with 3 base agencies to prevent a catastrophic environmental impact, circumventing 8,400 dollars in cleanup costs
Contributed to storm recovery and humanitarian relief efforts, issuing 101,000 gallons of fuel to essential equipment and residents, expediting the island of Guam’s recovery from the typhoon.
